BLACK SHADOWS
The tears that once drifted down my cheeks. raining wind blown statue
that was once blood now stone
My empathy binds me tight with stone that barely lets me see the light
The endlessness of unrest withers my being,
It always seems close when the stars silver the heavens that be.
I now lay quietly stone instead of flesh after my tears weep no more.
My cheeks are cracked and brittle, It is as if they won't bleed for evermore
My eyes lay closed behind the darkness of the stone where no fear plagues my soul.
It is waking days and endless nights that walk with me with this unrest mortalized in stone
The black shadows of my closed dead eyes begin to feel the warmth in peace of the hazy light.
A delicate one that echoes such peace & tranquillity traped in the stone that captures my soul
My being is lifted tenderly to the voices that call forth my naked & body of stone
My journey walks before the gold light this stone statue has not come to rest.
As I have life traped within the tomb of stone, My cries go unanswered as I walk with souls
upon my lips & dispels the suffering that this stone hell shrivels at my old body of stone
Glorious peace I feel when somebody is near speaking of past life as my cracked lips make no movement
as if starting me back where it began behind these closed dark eyes of stone.
My eyes bare the weather beaten voids that yeald the cries no voice can carry
The meaning of my walk with this journey now streams over the soul in somber
That was given to my soul by the divine that is of pureness of my empty embrace
In the passage of my time, My broken soul becomes partners to my mortal death,
as cast of stone is my shield to behold the stories never told
And it is always behind the darkness of these closed eyes.
