Spinning. the clouds push over me. I cannot breathe..
You once said you thought you could save me
But how is that possible, when your purity lies?
How could there be a savior behind those furious eyes?
Your words to me do nothing
You cannot bend a soul, when a soul is lacking
When we are not all searching for the same thing.
And as the air around him grasps on to me
I am so dizzy, I cannot think.

Once more I feel hollow
While lying in my lover’s arms
It felt just as before
The pain too awful to ignore
Yet must I bring it upon another?
I feel I would rather welcome death
Than go through this sadness much longer…
I cannot face you

But there is nothing else that I can do

Tears so silent falling

i want things to be like they were
as they never will be
i lost the battle, i'll lose the war
and things will not be as they were, before
she's pretty and new
i'm a doll, old and broken
tattered dress
shattered mind
it's no wonder you chose
to leave me behind....
they all want those things
i cannot provide...
my attempt to hate you fails me
the only resentment that will ever be
is for myself, and myself only.
i hate myself even more
everytime i see you
everytime i see the doll not yet broken
the mirror shatters as i throw it to the floor
i don't believe i can survive, anymore
he comforts me...
endless words spoken
he doesn't believe that i am broken
they never do.
and soon he will become just like you
a few treasured moments, and we'll be through....

Sickness
the sickness waits
patiently
a voice in my head
tells me all is wrong,
startles my weary mind
tells me i'm out of time....
out of time with you.
i can accept this
i prepare myself;
fight back the anger
fight back the tears
the voice tells me it's over
it says the end is near
i hate you for this
but i can't back away
our friendship is all i have
though we know
i'll never stay
i take my turn with fate
it's leading me astray.

Silence Enlighten Me
It gives me much pleasure to report
That you won’t hear from me, anymore.
There is a silence that has taken over my soul
Call it peace? Perhaps….or a gate to hell.
It is something I know
The way redundancy sleeps
Beneath burning summer skies
Red skinned, and blistered –
Complaining all the while.
And as always, my heart pleads for calm
Enlightenment of some sort
The unattainable dream…
If it is true, I will hear nothing!
My endless crazed fantasy…
The garden house, the ocean cliffs,
The surrounding meadows, the trees of green…
Something my eyes may never see…
I will hear nothing, nothing, nothing!
Those critical words hit like a brick to the back of the neck
The truth contained in those words shining brightly –
More so than words of praise ever could!
And at that moment, I felt collapse
My home now gone, glory now passed…
And I must sleep to dream…
…the dream to sleep, and to hear nothing…
