Glitter of Flame

alter of fire,
Ever more my soul’s
desire,
Entrancing stare
and visions of red,
Breathing your air
so you may be fed,
Glittering flame, I
force your descend,
Filtering pain from
a wisping friend,
Flickering forms
and lives of past,
Licking warmth of
flames that last,
vertical streams, a
glitter of flame,
Unthawed iced
dreams, years of rain,
Retrograde my soul,
healing begin,
I am unknown, to be
known again,
A chant to stir
passion a ritual to this mass,
Only to give you
what your consuming heart will ask,
renewing all my
will, blind as a fool,
Being a stringed
puppet of love, I’m only here for you,
Goddess loving
love, searing my pain,
I release it all to
you, burn it, glitter of flame…
