I Was There

I Was There

I was there and there was I
a world of downside ups
with yards of upside down
it spun and whirled and swiveled around
like the endless abyss missing the ground

good nor bad, happy nor sad
but rather a twisting tunnel of emotionless
thoughts
the darkness surrounded me,but left small tunes
the music like razors, left bruises and wounds

I looked all around but yet no escape
I felt as though I was descending but knew now to where
the memories quickly drew nearer
till it seemed like a disclosing mirror

I why not knew for and knew not for why
but in my own mind I was brought to reminisce
to bring fourth my very own preexists
without my consent my hand took control
and spun the mirror deep into my soul

In a moments time the mirror set me free
drew into me as though I inhaled deeply
my body lay un shaken when I came to
nothing seemed changed from my point of view

my eyes opened wide and drew in the light
The sun beamed upon my face and woke me to the day
my eyes open wide and drew in the light
a dream it just might be
but me myself I disagree
