Genre:

electro/industrial

Bio:

[2000]: ...Nuklear Dawn is a portuguese harsh electro-industrial musical project and it was born in the year 2000 while Lisbon's gothic/electronic club scene experienced a big boom... the band's founder, [Synth-Axis], was at that time working on one of those clubs (La Folie, later to be known as [LIMBO]) when he decided to put his hands back on some of his old music works...
[2001]: ...in the beginning of 2001 Nuklear Dawn released, by the means it had available, it's first song: "cuts like a razor"... thanks to some friends that first song became a humble dancefloor hit... side by side with two other newcoming portuguese bands, Syntax::Orion and Mechanique, Nuklear Dawn tried to fill a gap in the portuguese musical scene: the complete inexistence of electro-industrial bands...

[2002]: ...the year 2002 came with the long awaited possibility of a collaboration between [Synth-Axis] and Sentinel Alpha (a.k.a. Apollos - guest Dj at the monthly electro-industrial sessions held at LIMBO)... the first born child of this collaboration is an instrumental song called "man.u.factured" that shows the band's intents to continue exploring new harsh electro-industrial soundscapes...

[2002]: ...after having showed up on an article at Side-Line Music Magazine's site the project gained a new strength and both members of the band started to upgrade their gear searching for new and better equipment to improve unfinished works... with the chance for a first live act in mind Nuklear Dawn releases two instrumental tracks: a new song called "troops of gold" and a upgraded version of an old work called "mnemonic conspirations"...

[2003]: ...the band starts this new year with the release of a new song with vocals... "the day the world ended" shows how the band is more mature and hits the dancefloor although it was not composed to be a club track...

[2003]: ...06.08.2003 marks the day when Nuklear Dawn went live... the concert was held at club [LIMBO] is Lisbon where the band performed before an audience of more than a hundred friends and it was obvious that this was a day that none of them will ever forget... all of the eigth tracks performed were re-arranged for the event and all will be available on the band's promo cd to be released in October...

Members:

[Synth-Axis] and Sentinel Alpha

Influences:

Hocico, Feindflug, Suicide Commando, God Module

SONGS:

man.u.factured

the day the world ended

chaos, destruction
i'm ashamed to remind
the world's abduction
by others not our kind

oppression, deception
god was never found
shoot in all directions
the world ends now

spawned resistance
killed existence

subverted, deserted
our faces blurring out
another crime reported
it could have been you child

aggression, deception
blame was never found
shoot in all directions
your world ends now

spawned resistance
killed existence

on the day the world ended
god was never found
god was never found
god was never found

troops of gold

mnemonic conspirations

hierogliphic indisposure...
post traumatic manipulation...
technology recognition...
safeguards of wounded circuitry...

relentless intelligence...
neurologic nomads...
uncovered incisions...
generic prints - interference...

no signal... no betrayal...

optic nerves interfaced...
mnemonic traps of our reality...
epidemic traces...
evolution revolution...

gravitational seduction...
a platform of human existence
suicide interpolation...
last registry - interference

no signal... no betrayal...

throughout enclosured exteriors
you've traced a glimpse of your past
encoded movements...
truth is a strange currency...

no signal... no betrayal...
mnemonic conspiration.
